Terms of Service

Welcome to Chaotique by Katie ("Company", "we", or "us"). By booking an appointment and using our semi-permanent makeup services ("Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our Services.

1. Eligibility

To book an appointment with Chaotique by Katie, you must be at least 18 years of age or have written consent from a parent or guardian. By booking, you affirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Consultation

A pre-treatment consultation, either virtually or in person, is mandatory to discuss the desired outcome, brow design, skin type, and any existing semi-permanent makeup. This ensures a customised approach tailored to your needs.

3. Health and Medical Information

Clients are required to disclose any health conditions, allergies or medications that may affect the outcome of the treatment, healing process, or safety. Failure to provide accurate medical information may result in refusal of services or potential adverse reactions for which Chaotique by Katie is not liable.

4. Patch Test

A patch test is required for all new clients at least 24-48 hours prior to the appointment. This ensures that you do not have an allergic reaction to the pigments or products used. If you choose to waive the patch test, you do so at your own risk.

5. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of the treatment. Full payment must be made upon completion of services.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment may result in the loss of the deposit. No-shows will forfeit their deposit.

7. Treatment Results & Expectations

While we strive for the highest quality results, the final outcome of semi-permanent makeup may vary based on individual skin types, healing processes, and aftercare compliance. Chaotique by Katie does not guarantee specific results and is not liable for dissatisfaction due to failure to follow aftercare instructions.

8. Aftercare

Aftercare instructions will be provided at the end of your appointment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions to ensure the best possible outcome. Chaotique by Katie is not responsible for issues or complications arising from improper aftercare.

9. Touch-Ups

Your semi-permanent makeup treatment includes one complimentary touch up session within 4-6 weeks of your initial appointment. Any additional touch ups beyond this time frame will incur additional charges unless agreed otherwise.

10. Liability

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that semi-permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing and results are not guaranteed. Chaotique by Katie is not liable for any unforeseen side effects or dissatisfaction resulting from the treatment. You assume full responsibility for the decision to undergo the procedure and for all aftercare.

11. Right to Refuse Service

Chaotique by Katie reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, cases of inappropriate behaviour and undisclosed medical conditions that may contraindicate the treatment.

12. Refund Policy

All semi-permanent makeup services are non-refundable. Results will vary based on individual skin type, lifestyle and adherence to aftercare. No refunds will be given for services rendered, even in cases of dissatisfaction with the final result.

13. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information collected during your consultation and treatment process will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

14. Changes to Terms

Chaotique by Katie reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any revised terms.

15. Governing Law

The Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK. Any legal disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be handled in the appropriate courts.
